Spiced Nuts
Makes 2 Cups
*4 tbls. butter
*2 cups mixed nuts, such as cashews, almonds or pecan halves
*1 tsp. curry powder
*1 tsp. cumin powder
*Coarse or kosher salt
1Melt butter in a skillet, add nuts and saute until lightly browned. Sprinkle with curry powder and cumin powder. Sprinkle with salt. Stir to combine, about 1 minute.
2Transfer to paper towels to drain before serving.
  • MAKES A GREAT GIFT: Line a festive tin container with waxed paper. Add nuts and seal with a lid. Place in a gift bag with a small glass or decorative ceramic bowl for serving.
