Spiced Nuts
Makes 2 CupsIngredients
* | 4 tbls. butter |
* | 2 cups mixed nuts, such as cashews, almonds or pecan halves |
* | 1 tsp. curry powder |
* | 1 tsp. cumin powder |
* | Coarse or kosher salt |
Instructions
1 | Melt butter in a skillet, add nuts and saute until lightly browned. Sprinkle with curry powder and cumin powder. Sprinkle with salt. Stir to combine, about 1 minute. |
2 | Transfer to paper towels to drain before serving. |
Notes
MAKES A GREAT GIFT: Line a festive tin container with waxed paper. Add nuts and seal with a lid. Place in a gift bag with a small glass or decorative ceramic bowl for serving.
