Cheese & Fruit Platter
Makes 8-10 Servings
Ingredients
*8 oz. round of soft-ripened cheese, such as Brie or Camembert
*Wedge of blue cheese, such as Gorgonzola or Roquefort
*4 oz. herbed goat cheese
*8 oz. Gruyere cheese
*1 bunch green or red grapes
*Sliced apples, pears and/or figs
*Baguette slices
*Assorted crackers
Instructions
1Arrange cheeses and fruit on a large serving platter. Serve baguette slices and crackers in a separate basket. Supply cheese knives and spreaders.
Notes
  • Choose a variety of cheese tastes and textures. Consider buying locally-produced cheeses.
  • Let cheese warm to room temperature before serving - at least 1 hour.
  • Dip apple and pear slices in a mixture of water and lemon juice to prevent discoloration. Drain.
