* | 6 (6-ounce) Alaskan salmon fillets |
* | Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper |
* | 1/4 pound (1 stick) unsalted butter |
* | 1 cup good quality maple syrup |
* | 1/3 cup Dijon mustard |
1 | Preheat oven to 375F degrees. Season salmon with salt and pepper. |
2 | Melt butter in a glass baking dish in the oven. Arrange fish in the pan skin side-up and bake for 10 minutes. |
3 | Combine maple syrup and mustard. Carefully flip fillets over (skin-side down). Brush the fish with the maple-mustard sauce and bake 5 minutes more or until salmon is cooked, but still slightly pink in the center. |
