Penne with
Spicy Arrabbiata Sauce
Makes 4-6 Servings
*4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
*2 cloves garlic, chopped
*1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
*28-ounce can San Marzano whole tomatoes
*Salt to taste
*16-ounce package Barilla Penne
*1/4 cup Pecorino Romano cheese, grated
*2 tablespoons parsley, roughly chopped
1Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
2Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add chopped garlic and red pepper flakes; saute until garlic turns light yellow.
3Add tomatoes and season with salt. Simmer for 4-5 minutes.
4Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
5Add cooked pasta to skillet and toss. Sprinkle with cheese and parsley. Serve immediately.
