* | 1 package Shady Brook Farms or Honeysuckle White 99% Fat-Free Ground Turkey |
* | 1 large Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored and grated |
* | 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander |
* | 1/2 teaspoon salt |
* | 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper |
* | 8-ounce can jellied cranberry sauce |
* | 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard |
* | 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
* | 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
* | 4 hamburger buns |
1 | Preheat charcoal grill for direct-heat cooking. |
2 | In a medium-size bowl, combine turkey, apple, coriander, salt and pepper. Evenly divide turkey mixture into 4 burgers, approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter. |
3 | Grill turkey burgers 5 to 6 minutes per side until meat thermometer reaches 160F to 165F degrees and meat is no longer pink. |
4 | In a small bowl, combine cranberry sauce, mustard, cinnamon and nutmeg. |
5 | Spread sauce on burger and serve on buns. |
