Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries
Makes 2+ servings
*1 pint fresh strawberries, unhulled
*4-5 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
*2 tbls. liqueur (Kahlua, Amaretto, Irish Cream, Irish Whiskey, etc)
1Line a large baking sheet with waxed paper. Clean strawberries and pat dry.
2Place chocolate and liqueur in the top of a double boiler set over simmering water and cook, stirring constantly, until chocolate is melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
3Dip strawberries into chocolate until coated almost to top. Let excess chocolate drip off.
4Place coated strawberries on waxed paper-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate until chilled and coating is firm.
5NOTE: Can be prepared and refrigerated up to 8 hours ahead.
