Oriental Lettuce Wraps
Makes 6 Servings
*1 pound Shady Brook Farms or Honeysuckle White Lean Ground Turkey, cooked until no longer pink
*3 tablespoons soy sauce (plus additional for dipping)
*1/4 cup hoisin sauce
*2 tablespoons chili paste with garlic
*2 tablespoons sugar
*1 bunch green onions, chopped
*1 cup water
*1 tablespoon cornstarch
*8 to 10 large lettuce leaves (bibb, butter or iceberg)
1Combine turkey, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chili paste, sugar, green onions, water and cornstarch together in a skillet and simmer for 15 minutes. Transfer mixture to a bowl.
2Place lettuce leaves on a platter. Scoop a portion of the turkey mixture onto a lettuce leaf. Complete the wrap by folding in the sides of the leaf over the filling and rolling up.
3Makes 8 to 10 large wraps.
4Pass additional soy sauce around for dipping.
