Spiral Pasta Parmesan
Makes 4 Servings
*1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
*1/2 pound dried spiral pasta, such as fusilli, rotini or cellentani
*2 tablespoons butter, softened
*1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese
*2 tablespoons fresh herbs, such as thyme, chives or parsley
*Salt and pepper
1Bring a pot of water that has been seasoned with garlic salt to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, according to package directions. Drain well.
2Add hot pasta to a warmed serving bowl. Add butter, cheese and herbs. Toss to combine.
3Season well with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
  • To warm serving bowl, place in a warming oven or fill with hot water and let stand for a few minutes, then empty water and dry quickly with a towel.
