Asian-Style Baby Back Ribs
Makes 4-6 Appetizer ServingsIngredients
* | 1/3 cup orange juice |
* | 1/4 cup soy sauce |
* | 4 tablespoons brown sugar |
* | 2 tablespoons Chinese plum sauce |
* | 1 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder |
* | 1-2 racks baby back pork ribs (2 1/2 to 3 pounds total) |

Instructions
1 | Prepare the marinade by combining the orange juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, plum sauce and five spice powder together in a small bowl. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour 1/4 cup into a small dish and set aside for basting the ribs. |
2 | Place ribs in a large baking dish and cover with remaining marinade, turning several times to coat the ribs. You may have to cut the ribs into 2 racks to fit in the dish. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour, turning to coat every fifteen minutes. (See Notes) |
3 | Preheat oven to 375F degrees. Place oven rack in the middle position. |
4 | Remove ribs from the marinade and place in a baking dish. Discard marinade. Roast 1 hour until they are browned and tender. |
5 | Spray grill rack with non-stick spray. Heat grill. Transfer ribs to the grill and brush with reserved marinade. Grill until ribs are cooked through and marinade is thick and syrupy, about 15 minutes. |
6 | Cut into individual ribs for appetizer servings. |

Notes
Alternately, place the ribs in a large, sealable plastic bag and add marinade. Marinate ribs in the refrigerator, turning the bag every fifteen minutes.
