Teriyaki Turkey Burgers
Makes 8 Servings
*2 pounds Shady Brook Farms or Honeysuckle White Lean Ground White Turkey
*1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
*1/4 teaspoon black pepper, freshly cracked
*2 cloves garlic
*2 teaspoons fresh ginger
*1/2 cup soy sauce or 1/2 cup tamari
*2 tablespoons sugar
*1/4 cup orange juice
1In a large bowl, mix turkey, onion and pepper together and set aside.
2Extract the juices from the garlic and ginger into a small bowl with a press. Add the remaining ingredients to the juices and then mix into the meat mixture.
3Form into patties and grill or broil until no longer pink in the center, turning halfway through the cooking time.
