Smoked Salmon Pizza
with Red Onion & Capers
Makes 4 Main or 6 Appetizer Servings
*12-inch thin-crust prebaked Italian pizza crust, such as Boboli(R)
*4 ounces cream cheese, softened
*1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
*2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill, divided
*4 to 6 ounces thinly-sliced smoked salmon
*1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
*1 tablespoon capers, drained, or to taste
1Preheat oven to 425F degrees. Place non-stick pizza pan in the oven while it comes up to temperature. Place pizza crust on preheated pan and bake 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven.
2In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, lemon juice and 1 1/2 tablespoons of chopped dill. Spread cream cheese mixture over baked pizza crust.
3Evenly distribute smoked salmon slices on top. Sprinkle red onion and capers over the salmon. Garnish with remaining chopped dill.
