'Texas Hold 'Em' Steak & Cheese Sandwiches
Makes 6 Servings
*6 hoagie or crusty sandwich rolls
*2 cloves garlic, cut in half
*6 6-ounce strip or rib eye steaks, grilled to taste
*6 strips Saga blue cheese
*Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
*Lettuce, tomato, red onion (optional)
1Split rolls in half lengthwise and toast until golden. Rub toasted bread with the cut sides of the garlic cloves to flavor the bread. Discard garlic.
2Cut steaks into thin slices and arrange on bottom of rolls. Top with cheese slices. Season with salt and pepper. Add lettuce, tomato or red onion as desired. Cover the sandwiches with the top of the rolls. Serve warm.
