Summer Fruit Sangria
Makes 6 Servings
*3 tbls. sugar
*1/3 cup orange-flavored liqueur, such as Cointreau
*1/4 cup orange juice
*2 oranges, sliced
*2 ripe peaches, cut in wedges
*1 lemon, sliced
*1 lime, cut in wedges
*2 bottles red wine, such as Rioja
*1 bottle club soda
1Combine sugar, orange liqueur and orange juice in a large glass pitcher. Add fresh cut-up fruit and top with red wine. Cover and refrigerate several hours to let the fruit flavors infuse the wine.
2To serve, pour into glasses over ice and top with a splash of club soda.
