Whipped Potatoes
Makes 6 servings
*3 lbs. Idaho potatoes, peeled and cut into halves or 3 inch chunks
*1 tsp. garlic salt
*1 cup milk
*2 tbls. butter
*salt and pepper, to taste
1Place potatoes in large saucepan and cover with water. Add garlic salt to water and bring to boil. Reduce to med-high heat, cover and cook until potatoes are fork tender, about 35-40 minutes.
2When potatoes are done, drain and add milk.
3With electric hand beater, whip potatoes until smooth and fluffy.
4Add butter, salt and pepper to taste and mix potatoes.
