* | 3 lbs. Idaho potatoes, peeled and cut into halves or 3 inch chunks |
* | 1 tsp. garlic salt |
* | 1 cup milk |
* | 2 tbls. butter |
* | salt and pepper, to taste |
1 | Place potatoes in large saucepan and cover with water. Add garlic salt to water and bring to boil. Reduce to med-high heat, cover and cook until potatoes are fork tender, about 35-40 minutes. |
2 | When potatoes are done, drain and add milk. |
3 | With electric hand beater, whip potatoes until smooth and fluffy. |
4 | Add butter, salt and pepper to taste and mix potatoes. |
