* | 2 lbs. Idaho potatoes, peeled and cut into halves or 3" chunks (about 3 potatoes). |
* | 1 tsp. garlic salt |
* | 3/4 - 1 cup milk |
* | 2 tbls. butter |
* | salt |
* | pepper |
1 | Place potatoes in large saucepan and cover with water. Add garlic salt to water and bring to boil. Reduce to medium heat, cover and cook until potatoes are fork tender, about 35-40 minutes. |
2 | When potatoes are done, drain, add milk and mash until smooth and fluffy. |
3 | Add butter, salt and pepper to taste and mix into potatoes. |
