Canyon Ranch Caramelized Onions
Makes 8 Servings
Ingredients
*2 large yellow or red onions, thinly sliced
*2 tbls. olive oil
*1/4 tsp. salt (optional)
*Pinch pepper (optional)
Instructions
1In a large saute pan, cook onions in olive oil over medium heat for 5 minutes. When onions begin to brown, reduce heat to low and cook 5 more minutes or until sugars are released. Season with salt and pepper.
Notes
  • Great over salads, with meats and on sandwiches.
