1 | Crush the cardamom pods to expose seeds. |
2 | In a medium saucepan, combine cardamom, water, milk, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Bring just to a boil. Remove from heat, cover and steep for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. |
3 | Add the tea leaves. Bring just to a boil. Remove from heat and simmer for 5 minutes. |
4 | Gently stir the tea and then strain. Discard spices. |
5 | Serve tea with a variety of accompaniments. |
