Roasted Tomatoes
Makes 12 TomatoesIngredients
* | 12 plum tomatoes |
* | 1 tbls. olive oil |
* | 1 tsp. kosher salt |
* | 1/2 tsp. black pepper |
Instructions
1 | Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. |
2 | Place the tomatoes on a baking sheet and rub with the oil. Sprinkle with the salt and pepper. |
3 | Bake until the tomatoes are shriveled and slightly darkened, about 3 hours. |
Notes
- This is a great way to concentrate the flavors of the tomato, and if you want to blister the skin, broil for 3 minutes at the end.
