Macaroni And Cheese
Makes 8 servings
*1 tsp. garlic salt
*1 lb. elbow macaroni
*10 oz. extra sharp white cheddar cheese, cut into bite-sized cubes
*3 cups milk
*3 tbls. flour
*salt and pepper, to taste
1Fill kettle with 4 quarts water seasoned with garlic salt. Add macaroni and cook according to package directions. Drain.
2Spray 2 1/2 qt. baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Place half of the cooked macaroni in baking dish, scatter half of the cheddar cheese across the top and cover with 1 1/2 cups milk. Sprinkle with 2 tbls flour.
3Repeat another layer, sprinkle with 1 tbls. flour. Salt and pepper to taste.
4Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 40 minutes until bubbly and top has a golden brown crust.
