* | 4-5 sprigs fresh mint |
* | 2 dashes simple syrup (see Notes) |
* | Dash of fresh lime juice |
* | Crushed ice |
* | 2 oz. light rum |
* | Soda water |
1 | Put mint into a highball glass. Add simple syrup and lime juice. Crush with a wooden barspoon until the aroma of the mint is released. |
2 | Add crushed ice and rum and stir vigorously until well mixed. Top with soda water and stir again. |
