Baked Beans with Bacon Topping
Makes 6-8 Servings
Ingredients
*2 (28-oz.) cans Grandma Brown's baked beans (see notes)
*1 large onion, diced
*3 tbls. prepared yellow mustard
*1/4 cup maple syrup
*1/4 cup brown sugar
*8 oz. bacon strips
Instructions
0Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2In a Dutch oven or casserole dish, mix together baked beans, onion, mustard, maple syrup and brown sugar. Top with bacon slices.
3Bake, uncovered, 45 to 60 minutes, until bacon is cooked.
Notes
  • Another brand of beans may be substituted; look for a brand without tomato or tomato paste in the ingredients listing.
