Chocolate Kahlua Truffles
Makes 24 truffles
*1/4 cup heavy cream
*2 tbls. Kahlua
*6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, in pieces
*4 tbls. butter, softened
*1/2 cup powdered unsweetened cocoa
*2 tsp. ground cinnamon
*Powdered sugar for dusting
1Bring cream to a boil in a small pan and reduce to 2 tablespoons. Remove from heat and stir in Kahlua and chocolate. Stir over low heat until chocolate melts.
2Whisk in softened butter until smooth. Transfer to a shallow bowl and refrigerate until firm, about 45 minutes.
3Separately, combine unsweetened cocoa and cinnamon in a shallow bowl.
4Using a melon baller or teaspoon, scoop up chocolate and shape into 1 inch balls. Roll truffle balls in cocoa-cinnamon mixture. Dust with powdered sugar.
5Refrigerate, covered, until ready to serve.
Makes A Great Gift:
 Line the inside of a festive tin container with holiday tissue paper. Lay a piece of waxed paper on the bottom of the container. Arrange truffles inside. Cover with additional tissue. Cover tightly with lid.
 You can make smaller gift packs of 8 or 12 truffles for multiple gifts.
