* | 10-oz bag very small white pearl onions, unpeeled |
* | 10-oz package frozen green peas |
* | 4 tbls. butter |
* | 1 tsp. fresh thyme, chopped |
* | Salt and freshly-ground black pepper |
1 | Cook onions in a large pot of boiling water, about 5 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer onions to a bowl and set aside to cool. Peel onions, leaving core intact. |
2 | Reheat water to boil and cook peas for 5 minutes. Add pearl onions to water and continue to cook peas and onions for 2 minutes. |
3 | Drain and transfer to serving dish. Add butter and thyme and toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper. |
