* | 1 1/2 lbs. green beans |
* | 3 tbls. butter |
* | Salt and freshly ground black pepper |
* | 1 cup cashews, chopped |
1 | Bring a saucepan of water to a rolling boil and blanch green beans 1-2 minutes until bright green. Drain immediately. |
2 | Melt butter and season with salt and pepper. |
3 | Place green beans in a warmed bowl. Pour butter over beans. Sprinkle chopped cashews over top. Toss well. |
