Caprese Stack
Makes an individual serving
*1 beefsteak tomato
*Salt and freshly-ground pepper to taste
*1 fresh buffalo mozzarella ball
*4-5 fresh basil leaves
*Extra virgin olive oil
1Slice a small piece off the bottom of the tomato so that it will lay flat on the plate.
2Slice beefsteak tomato in thick slices. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3Slice mozzarella into thick rounds.
4Rebuild tomato by layering tomato, mozzarella and basil. Drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil.
