Makes 8 servings
*6 Lasagna noodles
*1 tsp. garlic salt (optional)
*1 tbls. Olive oil (optional)
*2 lbs. Ground beef
*1/2 tsp. Salt
*1/2 tsp. garlic salt
*1/4 tsp. pepper
*1 medium Onion, chopped
*1 28 oz jar spaghetti sauce
*1 15oz container ricotta cheese
*1/3 cup Milk
*2 Eggs, lightly beaten
*1 lb. block Mozzarella cheese
*1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions. (Add garlic salt and oil to water before cooking noodles, if desired). Drain.
2In large skillet, brown ground beef, salt, garlicsalt, pepper and onion, breaking up ground beef. Drain. Pour in spaghetti sauce and mix well. (You may want to reserve some sauce to put on top when serving)
3In a separate bowl, mix ricotta cheese, milk and eggs to a thickened consistency.
4Also, separately, cut block of mozzarella cheese into narrow slices.
5In a 9in x 13in glass baking dish, layer lasanga as follows: 1/2 meat sauce mixture top with 3 lasagna noodles top with 1/2 ricotta mixture top with 1/2 amount of mozzarella slices Sprinkle with 1/2 Parmesan cheese Repeat layers with remaining ingredients.
6Cook in 350 degree oven for 1 to 1 1/4 hours
