
Beef & Brie on French Bread
Makes 2+ servingsIngredients
* | 1 loaf French bread |
* | 1 large clove garlic, halved |
* | 1/2 lb. shaved deli-style roast beef |
* | 4 oz. Brie cheese, sliced into pieces, rind trimmed |
* | 1/2 cup mayonnaise |
* | 1 tbls. prepared horseradish, drained |
* | 1 tbls. chopped chives |
Instructions
1 | Slice bread in half, lengthwise. Rub the surface of the bread with the cut sides of garlic clove. Discard garlic. Place roast beef across bottom of bread. Place sliced Brie on top of beef. |
2 | Separately, combine mayonnaise, horseradish and chives and mix thoroughly. |
3 | When ready to serve, spread top of bread with horseradish-mayonnaise and place on top of roast beef and cheese. Slice into portions. |
