Lemon Asparagus with Parmesan
Makes 6 servingsIngredients
* | 1 lb. asparagus |
* | 1/2 cup butter |
* | 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice |
* | 1/4 tsp. salt |
* | 1/2 cup freshly-grated Parmesan-Reggiano cheese |
Instructions
1 | Snap or cut off tough ends of asparagus spears. Place asparagus in a steamer over boiling salted water. Steam, uncovered, until bright green and tender. Drain. |
2 | Combine butter, lemon juice and salt together and heat in microwave until butter is melted. Pour over asparagus. |
3 | Just before serving, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. |
