Hot Crabmeat Spread
Makes 6 servings
*8-ounce package cream cheese
*1 tablespoon milk
*1 tablespoon white wine
*2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
*3 - 4 scallions, chopped, white and light green parts only
*7 1/2-ounce can king crabmeat, drained and picked over for bones or cartilage
*Assorted crackers or toast points
1Blend cream cheese, milk, wine and Worcestershire sauce together in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
2Stir in scallions and crabmeat (remove pieces of cartilage, if present).
3Heat, stirring occasionally, on low heat. Reduce to warm until ready to serve. Serve with assorted crackers or toast points.
  • Alternatively, fill phyllo cups with warm crabmeat mixture and display on a serving platter.
