Boston Baked Beans
Makes 6 - 8 servings
*8-oz. package bacon
*1 large onion, chopped
*2 31-oz. cans baked beans
*14 oz. ketchup
*1 cup brown sugar
*1 tsp. Dijon mustard
*1/4 cup molasses
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2In a medium skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Drain and crumble into pieces on paper towel. Drain grease from skillet, but do not wash. Add onion and saute until softened and translucent.
3Combine all ingredients in 2 quart casserole, cover and cook in oven for 1 hour or until bubbly. (Alternatively, place in Crock Pot, set on medium and slow cook until ready to serve.
