Herbed Pork Roast
Makes 6 servings
*2 tbls. brown sugar
*5-6 fresh sage leaves, torn
*1 tbls. margarine
*1 tsp. salt
*1/4 tsp. black pepper
*1/2 tsp. celery seed
*1/2 tsp. dry mustard
*2 1/2 lb. boneless pork roast
1Mix seasonings together in a small bowl. Rub pork roast thoroughly with mixture. Cover roast with plastic wrap and refrigerate up to 4 hours or overnight.
2Unwrap roast and place on a rack in a shallow pan. Roast at 350 degrees, allowing about 40 minutes per pound or until desired doneness.
