Lemon Herb Green Beans
Makes 8 Servings
*1 1/2 pounds green beans, trimmed
*2 tablespoons butter or margarine
*1 teaspoon McCormick Basil Leaves
*1/2 teaspoon McCormick Oregano leaves
*1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1Cook beans in boiling salted water in large uncovered saucepan on medium-high heat for 7 minutes or until crisp-tender. Drain.
2Return beans to saucepan. Toss with remaining ingredients. Let stand 5 minutes before servings.
  • For Lemon Herb Asparagus: Use 1 1/2 pounds asparagus, ends trimmed, in place of green beans.
  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 7 minutes
