Sake Sauce
Makes 1 Cup
*1/2 cup sake
*1/4 cup soy sauce
*1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
*1 tablespoon sugar
*1 small serrano chili, seeded and finely chopped
*1/4 teaspoon minced garlic
*1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion, white part only
1In a small pan, combine the sake, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, chili and garlic. Warm on medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and allow to cool. Add green onion.
2The sauce will keep, covered, in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
