
Blue Cheese Crostini
with Honey and Walnuts
Makes 12 CrostiniIngredients
* | 12 slices bread cut diagonally from fresh baguette, about 1/4-inch thick |
* | Good quality olive oil for brushing |
* | 4 ounces blue cheese, such as Gorgonzola, Roquefort, Stilton or Maytag Blue |
* | 1/2 cup toasted walnuts, chopped |
* | Honey for drizzling |
Instructions
1 | Brush bread slices with olive oil and toast in a 400F degree oven until golden brown, about 8 minutes. |
2 | Spread with blue cheese and top with walnuts. Drizzle each slice lightly with honey and serve immediately. |
