Blue Cheese Crostini
with Honey and Walnuts
Makes 12 Crostini
*12 slices bread cut diagonally from fresh baguette, about 1/4-inch thick
*Good quality olive oil for brushing
*4 ounces blue cheese, such as Gorgonzola, Roquefort, Stilton or Maytag Blue
*1/2 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
*Honey for drizzling
1Brush bread slices with olive oil and toast in a 400F degree oven until golden brown, about 8 minutes.
2Spread with blue cheese and top with walnuts. Drizzle each slice lightly with honey and serve immediately.
