Maple Cream Glazed Nuts
Makes Approximately 1 Cup
*1/4 cup Stonewall Kitchen Pure Maple Cream or Maine Maple Syrup
*1 tablespoon butter
*1 cup nuts (pecans, walnuts or almonds)
1Place a piece of wax paper next to your cook top.
2Heat the Stonewall Kitchen Maple Cream or Maine Maple Syrup and butter in a medium saucepan over medium high heat until bubbly.
3Add the nuts and stir continuously until the nuts are fully glazed, the moisture has begun to evaporate and it becomes more difficult to stir.
4Spread the nuts out on the wax paper making sure the nuts are separated. Allow to cool completely.
  • Serve as an appetizer. Or serve over ice cream, in a tossed salad, over sweet potato casserole, in oatmeal or as a topping for muffins.
